Kidnapping from lawful guardianship.\u2014<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Whoever takes or entices any minor under<br \/>\n[sixteen]<br \/>\nyears of age if a male, or under<br \/>\n[eighteen] years of age if a female, or any person of unsound mind, out of<br \/>\nthe keeping of the lawful guardian of such minor or person of unsound mind, without the consent of such<br \/>\nguardian, is said to kidnap such minor or person from lawful guardianship.<br \/>\n<strong>Explanation.\u2014<\/strong>The words \u201clawful guardian\u201d in this section include any person lawfully entrusted<br \/>\nwith the care or custody of such minor or other person.<br \/>\n<strong>Exception.\u2014<\/strong>This section does not extend to the act of any person who in good faith believes himself<br \/>\nto be the father of an illegitimate child, or who in good faith believes himself to be entitled to the lawful<br \/>\ncustody of such child, unless such act is committed for an immoral or unlawful purpose.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>361.
